#83 – Boathouse Restaurant

Open seasonally, the Boathouse Restaurant, located on the docks down in Merrick, has kicked off the summer season this past Memorial Day.

The restaurant offers beautiful views of the incoming boats from Jones Beach as patrons can sit on an outdoor deck or in an all-glass room. 

The menu offers fresh finds like a shrimp and mango wrap, manhattan clam chowder or a clam bake which offers lobster, shrimp, clams and scallops.

For those who enjoy turf, a 16 ounce ribeye or marinated skirt steak are options. The menu also houses a section for pasta and chicken dishes and sandwiches and wraps. 

If you are in the mood for just a drink and a view, head to the bar area which is enclosed in all glass.

Enjoy some music, take a  stroll on the docks and mingle with fellow Merrick residents at the Boathouse.
