'Absolutely Outraged' By Hate Symbols At School Playground: Lawmaker
A resident, who spotted the graffiti at Chatterton School playground, alerted the office of Assemblyman McDonough.
MERRICK, NY — Anti-Semitic symbols were discovered on a playground in Merrick near the Chatterton School, the office of Assemblyman David McDonough announced.
McDonough, who covers Merrick, said in a statement he is "absolutely outraged" what was spray painted "under the cover of night."
A resident spotted the hate-filled graffiti over the weekend and alerted McDonough's office.

"While this act was done in the dark, the perpetrator will be brought to the light," he said.
Nassau police did not have any details.
