- A man and woman were stabbed and a child hurt in East Meadow home on Wednesday evening. Nassau police responded to a "domestic disturbance" at a Cooper Drive home around 6:38 p.m. that evening. The man and woman are listed in critical condition; the child is recovering. No arrests have been made. (Newsday; subscription required)
- A Bronx teen was arraigned Thursday, March 24, for allegedly burglarizing nine businesses in Carle Place and Mineola on Jan. 29. The suspect, Richard Morgridge, 18, has been arrested 15 additional times for similar charges since 2019. (News 12 Bronx)
- West Hempstead Secondary School has a new principal. Joseph Pumo, a longtime LI educator, was appointed to the position by the Board of Education on March 22. (Patch)
- The Madison Theatre at Molloy College in Rockville Centre is set to host a benefit concert for Ukraine. Enjoy "Gershwin to Broadway" for one night only on April 5. Tickets are $50. Proceeds will go to victims of the war. (News 12 Connecticut)
- A 71-unit affordable rental project in Farmingdale is moving closer to groundbreaking. Sterling Green is facing its final hurdle next week with a public hearing regarding its application for economic incentives. Originally envisioned back in 2019, the $38.4 million project should get underway in May or June of this year. (Long Island Business News; subscription required)
