MERRICK, NY — A 24-year-old man fell off an E-bike and suffered serious injuries in Merrick early Friday morning, Nassau police say.
Police say officers responded to an unresponsive male at the intersection of Merrick Avenue and Garfield Street at around 4 a.m., and an investigation revealed he had fallen off, according to police.
He was taken by police ambulance to a local hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
