MERRICK, NY — A Levittown man was arrested last week after police said he followed a 17-year-old girl home and committed a lewd act while looking at her.
Nassau County police said 28-year-old Justin Sullivan was arrested Thursday at the Merrick Stop & Shop, where he's an employee, in connection with the incident that took place Tuesday, July 21 at about 12:40 p.m.
In that incident, police said the girl was out on a run when she saw a grey Nissan Rogue that looked like it was following her. The girl went home and saw that the Nissan had parked outside her house, at which point she saw Sullivan "inside of the vehicle with his pants off committing a lewd act while looking at" her, police said.
Upon his arrest, Sullivan was found in possession of a substance police said they believed to be LSD, police said.
Sullivan has pleaded not guilty to charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, exposing his body in public and exposure of a person, court records show.
