  1. A Hicksville man broke into a home and forcibly touched the resident on Sunday evening, police say. The resident called the police, who found Carlos Villeda, 58, at a nearby home and took him into custody. (Daily Voice)
  2. A man was hit by a car on Sunrise Highway near South Main Street in Freeport Sunday evening. The victim, 49, was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. The identities of the driver and the victim haven't been released. (Daily Voice)
  3. Feeling noodle-y? There's a new ramen shop in Lynbrook — Ni Ramen, located at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Merrick Road. (Newsday; subscription required)
  4. Long Islanders have voiced their opinion on seafood: Merrick's Anchor Down Seafood Bar and Grill is the best around, according to the Best of Bethpage. The restaurant features "casual bites" as well as traditional main courses, such as horseradish crusted organic Scottish salmon and jumbo lump crab cakes. Anchor Down opened in 2014. (Daily Voice)
