April 10: East Meadow Preps for Restaurant Week, Kennedy Kid Heads to National Competition

2. Bellmore restaurant Antonette's is having a two for $25 special tonight and every Tuesday night. Patrons get two salads and two entrees for $25. Head on over for some fun on a budget.

3. Speaking of eating out on a budget, Long Island Restaurant Week kicks off on April 22. See which East Meadow eateries signed up for the promotion here.

4. A kid from Kennedy will be representing the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District at the National Science and Engineering Fair. Come back to Merrick Patch at 5 p.m. to find out who it is and what his project was.

5. Need to relax and want to try something a little different? Try a Buddhist Meditation class. The class is held at the Groh Well Healing Center in Merrick from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at they are $10 for non-members.
