Choral groups from all over the district came together to perform at the unique event.

From Syntax: The notes were high and spirits were bright as the five premiere choral groups from within the Bellmore-Central High School District performed in the vocal music showcase on Nov. 29.

Included in the performance were the John F. Kennedy High School Variety Choir, Merrick Avenue Middle School’s Word of Mouth, Grand Avenue Middle School’s Grand Voices, Wellington C. Mepham High School’s Pirate Radio and Sanford H. Calhoun High School’s Crescendo.

The evening concluded with a combined finale, in which students from the elementary component districts were invited to sing with the upperclassmen.
