Enjoy the refreshing scent of the salty air all year around.

Even if you can't sit outside during the chilly days of December, simply being near the soft sway of the ocean tides can refresh the mind and soul.

Start off with a delicious, seafood inspired appetizer. The menu includes clams on the half shell, oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, crispy calamari with spicy marinara sauce, General Tso's spicy calamari steamers, Prince Edward mussels, Maryland crab cakes, baked clams and coconut shrimp spring rolls. Looking for a cup of soup to warm you up?

Indulge in New England or Manhattan clam chowder or lobster bisque. Opt for a salad instead, and select from mixed greens, baby greens, Greek or classic Caesar style.

Once the main event comes around, you won't want to skimp on your choice. Fried seafood lovers will be happy to know that the menu includes Gulf shrimp, coconut shrimp, deep sea scallops and filet of flounder in this style, as well as a seafood platter including plenty of favorites.

A broiled seafood platter is available too. Enjoy a Maine lobster, linguine with white clam sauce or zuppa depesce with shrimp, mussels, clams, half of a lobster and calamari marinara over linguine.

Plenty of house entrees top off the menu. The lineup features dishes such as a stuffed seafood platter, halibut, swordfish, shrimp scampi, chilean sea bass, soft shell crab, Mediterranean tilapia, broiled filet of sole and scrod oreganata.

If staying on dry land in terms of food is more of your style, have no fear, since the Schooner also serves up New York skirt steak, New York strip steak, filet mignon, chicken parmigana and half of a roasted chicken.

Stop in Monday through Thursday for the $22.95 pre-fixe menu which includes one of the following appetizers: Chilean sea bass cakes, baked clams, clam chowder or a house salad and one of the following entrees: teriyaki glazed salmon over garlic mashed potatoes, panko crusted tilapia with a lobster cream sauce over sweet potato banana mashed, filet of flounder stuffed with crab meat or chicken cutlet parmigiana over linguini.
