Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. Calhoun varsity cheerleaders have been successful this season. The team landed on top as winners at the Nassau County Section 8 Championship for the second year in a row. Undefeated in the Division 1 Co-Ed category they took eighth place in the New York State Championship on March 3 in Syracuse."We are so proud of this team and how hard they worked together to accomplish something great this season," said coach Chrissy Meiselas.
