Cash Register Stolen From North Merrick Diner: Police

NORTH MERRICK, NY — Police are investigating a burglary at a North Merrick restaurant on Tuesday morning.

A worker at The Diner Boys on Jerusalem Avenue noticed the rear door was open and a cash register was missing, authorities said.

The employee alerted his boss, who accessed security cameras to see an unknown man entering the eatery.
