Cheapest Gas Prices in Merrick
In this weekly feature, we tell you where you can find the best value to fill up your tank.
Gas is certainly not cheap with a fill-up for an even modest-sized car running north of $50, but you can keep the pain to a minimum if you know where to look.
The Holm's Citgo station located at 329 Merrick Ave. is currently pumping the cheapest gas around town with prices for regular, midgrade and premium standing at $2.79, $2.91 and $3.05, respectively.
The gas at the Hess station at 46 Sunrise Highway is also among the cheapest in Merrick, with a gallon of regular running $2.81.

The lowest reported price for diesel–at $3.25 a gallon–can be found at the Valero station at 1470 Jerusalem Ave.
At the other end, the most expensive gas–at $2.97 for a gallon of regular–is reported at the North Merrick Shell station located at 1555 Jerusalem Ave.
