The office of Immigration &amp; Refugee Services is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice to counsel, process, file, and represent clients before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and EOIR Immigration Court. Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. An 11-year-old boy was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Oceanside Friday afternoon, police said. According to police, the boy was crossing Merrick Road from south to north, between State Street and Oceanside Avenue, when he was hit by a westbound 2012 Honda at 3:12 p.m. The child, who police did not identify, was airlifted to a local hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition, police said. Police said no criminal charges will be filed against the 57-year-old female driver of the Honda. Photo: Google Maps

An 11-year-old boy was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Oceanside Friday afternoon, police said.

According to police, the boy was crossing Merrick Road from south to north, between State Street and Oceanside Avenue, when he was hit by a westbound 2012 Honda at 3:12 p.m. The child, who police did not identify, was airlifted to a local hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition, police said.
