Colorado Man Traveled to Long Island Twice to Sexually Abuse 16-Year-Old Girl He Met Online: Police
The 36-year-old was arrested at a LIRR station on Friday, police say.
A 36-year-old Colorado man sexually abused a 16-year-old Long Island girl who he met online, Nassau Police said.
According to detectives, Luke A. Tilsley, of 1550 Larimer Street in Denver, began communicating online with the teen in October 2015.
Tilsley, knowing the girl was 16, travelled to Merrick twice in April and touched the teen in an inappropriate manner, police said.

On Friday, the teen was observed with Tilsley and the police were notified, police said.
An investigation led to the arrest of Tilsley at the Merrick Long Island Rail Road station around 4:50 p.m., police said.

Tilsley is charged with two counts of forcible touching, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of third degree sexual abuse. He will be arraigned on Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
