Colts Cross Country Runs to Second Straight County Title
Six of the seven Colts competing earn all-county honors.

The Calhoun High School boys cross country team won its second straight county championship on Saturday and it did so in convincing fashion.
Calhoun's overall team score of 51 points bested three-time defending Class AA county champion Port Washington by 63 points.
Six of the seven Colts who took part in the 5K race at Bethpage State Park ran their personal best times and the seventh was only seconds off of his record time.

James Panetta, with a time of 15:57, was the pacesetter for Calhoun and nearly claimed an individual county title, coming in second place behind Westbury's Owen Skeete.
It was a total team effort on Saturday, though, and with a county crown now in hand, the Colts will compete for the state title next Saturday in Pawling upstate.
