DAYAN LILAH INSTALLS NEW CO-PRESIDENTS
Michele Lamonsoff and Meredith Gray to Again Lead Merrick-Bellmore Young Leaders Group

Michele Lamonsoff of Merrick and Meredith Gray of East Meadow have been installed for two-year terms as Co-Presidents of the Merrick-Bellmore Dayan Lilah Young Leaders Group of Hadassah. Both Mrs. Lamonsoff (2003-2005) and Mrs. Gray (2011-2013) reprise their roles as Co-President.
Mrs. Lamonsoff joined Dayan Lilah in 1996. She quickly joined the group’s Board as a New Member Liaison and has remained on the Executive Board continuously since then, holding positions including Social Secretary, Membership Vice President, Programming Vice President and Health Chair. She has chaired numerous events including Annual Membership Dinners, Spring Dinners, Games Nights, Recipe Swaps and Generations Brunch. She has received many Hadassah awards including Myrtle Wreath, Great Communicator, National Leadership Award, Fundraiser of the Year and Woman of the Year. She is a member of a four- generation Life Member Hadassah family with her Grandmother Rose, her mother, Rhoda, and her daughter Lauren.
A physical therapist, Mrs. Lamonsoff practices as an independent contractor working with school-age children. She lives with her husband, Eric, an attorney; daughter, Lauren, a student at the University of Delaware, and son, Jake, who attends JFK High School in Bellmore.

Mrs. Gray, a life member of Hadassah, joined the organization in 2005, first as member of the Simcha Group and then joining Dayan Lilah in 2007. She has been very involved with the group’s Executive Board since, serving on the Young Leaders Cabinet and as Children’s Events Chair and Membership Vice President. Mrs. Gray has been recognized with Hadassah’s Myrtle Wreath Award for Membership Development and was the Dayan Lilah Group’s Woman of the Year.
A personal injury and medical malpractice attorney, she lives with her husband, Ben, son, Blake, and daughter, Addison.

Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer organization that inspires a passion for and commitment to its partnership with the land and people of Israel. It enhances the health of people worldwide through its support of medical care and research at the Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem. Hadassah empowers its members and supporters, as well as youth in Israel and America through opportunities for personal growth, education, advocacy and Jewish continuity.
