This course covers boat handling under normal and adverse conditions, rules of the road (water), compass and chart (map) familiarization, running lights and equipment, trailering, piloting navigation, personal watercraft (jet-ski) Federal and NT State regulations. A written examination indicating successful completion entitles you to a U. S. Power Squadron Certificate required by law to operate a personal watercraft and is usually honored by insurance companies for a discount. The fee for the text book and material is $45.00.
