
Rescheduled from February 2. Love Chinese take-out! Come celebrate the Chinese New Year (the year of the rabbit)! Learn how to make simple and healthy Chinese meals, using most of the ingredients from the supermarket. Cook book author Penn Hongthong will demonstrate how to make; shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mein (Chicken with Rice Noodles) and beef with broccoli. There will be a tasting after the demonstration. There is a $3.00 fee for this program. Registration begins December 29 for Merrick residents. Non residents January 12. Location: Multipurpose Room B
