Children in grades 2-4 are invited to read to our special guest, a trained reading assistance dog. Children may sign-up for a 20 minute session of reading books to one of our special guest dogs. While the dog gets to hear favorite stories, the children are actually improving their communication and reading skills. The dogs are specially trained to be read to by children. Sessions will be held on Saturdays, October 1, November 5, and December 3. Appointments begin at 11:00am. Come to the Children’s Room beginning September 21 to set up your preferred day and time.
