Fiddler on the Roof – A Fine Tradition Returns!

The North Merrick Theater Arts production of Fiddler on the Roof comes to Brookside Auditorium this week.  This years’ talented cast and crew includes over 138 sixth grade students and 8 teachers from the North Merrick School District!    As well as learning music and choreography, students are getting a real lesson in history. The play is set in Russia in the year 1905 on the eve of the Russian Revolution. It teaches a lesson about the importance of tradition and spirituality in a small community.  These young actors are learning to portray people from walks of life which differ from their own.

So bring the entire family Friday March 9 or Saturday March 10 to the Brookside Auditorium at 7:30pm. Tickets will be available at the door.
