The Town is the Charleston neighborhood of Boston, an area renowned for turning out a large number of armed robbers with an unwritten code to protect one another generation after generation. Starring Ben Affleck (Doug MacRay), Rebecca Hall (Claire Keesey), Jon Hamm (F.B.I S.A. Adam Frawley) and Blake Lively (Krista Coughlin), the film tells the story of bank robber Doug MacRay who becomes romantically involved with a woman who doesn't realize he was her captor during a bank heist.
As MacRay plans his next job, he has to balance his feelings for the bank manager as well as his concern with the FBI agent trying to bring him down along with his crew.
