N. Merrick Library Bus Trip: Villa Roma

You don’t have to be Italian to spend a day of fun at Villa Roma! Voted Best of the Best by Fodor’s 2010, the famed resort is located in New York’s beautiful Sullivan County Catskills.

Prepare to be treated like family in this casual, friendly atmosphere. Upon arrival, enjoy refreshments and a sing-along of your favorite Italian songs, followed by a traditional Italian luncheon with your choice (at time of registration) of Chicken Parmigiana, Ravioli with meatballs, or Cod a la Veneziano (tomato, onions and spices, or you may have it “plain”). A carafe of red wine will be served along with your lunch, as well as a fruit cup, Lentil soup and of course, dessert.

Before the scheduled show, you’ll have an opportunity to participate in a game of Italian Trivia or line dancing lessons, then it’s on to the Forum Nightclub for a fabulous Italian musical show starring international singing star Gene Ferrari. Try your hand at Bingo before leaving for home.
