
Many area residents are seeking answers about insurance and other relief/reimbursement programs as they clean up after Irene caused destruction up and down the East Coast.
Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray, Councilwoman Angie Cullin,
New York State Senator Charles Fuschillo and New York State Assemblyman
David McDonough will present the New York State Insurance Department Mobile Resource Center at Merrick Road Town Park (corner of Merrick and Clubhouse Roads)
from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 1st.
The officials will announce that representatives from the New York State Insurance Department will be available to residents to address questions related to private insurance claims and other disaster relief and reimbursement programs, including FEMA programs.
