Tai Chi from the Arthritis Foundation

 Helene Just leads the following classes. Each session runs for 6 weeks. Please make checks only payable to the Merrick Library for $20.00. Tai Chi from the Arthritis Foundation is specially adapted for those that have arthritis, for seniors or anyone who wants to begin practicing Tai Chi. Tai Chi is a set of movements developed thousands of years ago in China. Modern Americans have learned that Tai Chi is an excellent exercise to help improve balance, stamina, coordination and well being. The movements may be performed standing or seated. Registration begins March 24 for Merrick residents. Non residents April 7.     Location: Multipurpose Room B
