Your Computer: The Possibilities

In this 4-session, hands-on course, learn how to use some of the most popular applications for home use.

Session I : Write a letter, create a newsletter, a flyer or sign, edit text, format and work with graphics.
Session II: Using a spreadsheet to manage personal finances, create a check register and format for bank reconciliation, keep track of investments and expenses and create a simple database.
Session III: All about e-mail, create and use address book, download and attach files and more.
Session IV: Cropping, adjusting brightness, removing red-eye, printing and more.

There will be 2 people to each laptop.

You will receive a separate manual for each session, plus on-line support services.

You may sign up for any or all of the above. Check for $5.00 per session, payable to North Merrick Public Library, due at RESIDENT registration, which begins Friday, Sept. 17th. You must have your library card with you! Non-residents, space permitting, Sept.24th. NOTE: prerequisite: Computer Kindergarten and 1st grade or equivalent.
