  1. Tragedy struck in Massapequa on Tuesday when a Wantagh woman died after being hit by an SUV while crossing the street. The incident occurred at the intersection of Sunrise Highway at Broadway at about 10:50 AM. An investigation is ongoing. (Daily Voice)
  2. Local libraries are speaking out against the state budget, reports Mallory Wilson. The new budget allows $14 million for library construction aid, which is $20 million less than the prior year. Hear grievances from Seaford and Levittown library staff over at liherald.
