Forget Garden City: Colts and Cougars Look to End Lacrosse Season on High Note

The Calhoun and Kennedy boys lacrosse teams play their final regular season games today.

The Garden City lacrosse team hasn't exactly been kind to local teams this week, beating up on Kennedy on Monday, 10-2, and then dismantling Calhoun on Wednesday, 15-2.

Calhoun's two goals Wednesday came from the sticks of Paul Grubb and Joe McGinley.  Devin Dwyer led the way for the visiting Trojans with four goals.

Both the Colts and Cougars will look to put the Trojans in their rear-view mirrors as they wrap up their regular seasons this afternoon.  Calhoun travels to Wantagh, while Kennedy hosts Elmont, both games with a 4:30 p.m. start.
