Lee Daniel's The Butler tells the story of a White House butler who served three decades under eight U.S. Presidents. Tracing American society and the changes sweeping it during this time span, the film deals with how the President’s life and family were affected by the prevalent issues, including civil rights and Vietnam. Forest Whitaker heads the all-star cast as the butler with Robin Williams as Eisenhower, John Cusack as Nixon, Alan Rickman as Reagan, James Marsden as Kennedy, and Liev Schreiber as Johnson.
