Fundraiser for Long Beach Humane Society's Kitty Cove

There will be a very special event on Saturday, April 30th at Billy’s Beach Cafe (222 West Park Avenue) from 1-4 PM. For $35 a ticket ($40 at the door), everyone who attends will enjoy an afternoon of delicious food, good company and knowing that they are helping the cats of Kitty Cove. A high point of the day will be a Chinese auction with many high end prizes to win. So please come on down to have a great time and support the kitties!

Kitty Cove is an extremely special place. It doesn’t have the vibe that you think of when you think of a shelter. It feels like a playground and is run by a very dedicated group of volunteers. We are a non-profit 501c3, non-salaried, voluntary organization, so every dollar that comes in gives hope and security to cats who have been rescued, including newborn kittens, pregnant mothers, injured felines and other cats at risk of euthanasia at kill shelters. When an adoption happens at Kitty Cove, it saves two lives: the lucky one finding a forever home as well as the space it opens for a cat that needs rescuing from a kill shelter.
