HADASSAH NAMES FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR AND GREAT COMMUNICATOR

The Merrick-Bellmore Dayan Lilah Group of Hadassah has named Melissa Greenberg Tell  as its Fundraiser of the Year and Anne Turell as its Great Communicator.

 

Both women will receive their awards at a county-wide meeting of Hadassah’s Nassau Region.

Mrs. Tell, of East Meadow, is a life member of Hadassah and has been a Dayan Lilah member for two years. During that time she has actively coordinated boutiques and raffles. The mother of three children, ages 8, 6 and 4, Mrs. Tell works at Coleman Country Day Camp and at preschool of the Community Reform Temple in Salisbury. She is also active on the PTA Board at the Meadowbrook Elementary School.

Mrs. Turell, of Oyster Bay Cove, has been a Hadassah member since 2001. She has served the Dayan Lilah Group as President, Communications Vice President and Young Leaders Cabinet Chair, and has also chaired several events. She has also chaired events for the Nassau Region of Hadassah, including the Region Golf & Tennis Day, and was on the Red Dress committee and was an honoree at that event. Mrs. Turell is also an active board member of the Oyster Bay Jewish Center and a volunteer for Forever 9-The Robbie Levine Foundation.
