Happy Hour Roundup: Left Coast Kitchen

Left Coast Kitchen is the perfect location if you are venturing out for a meal and cannot decide what to have – this eatery offers a little bit of everything. 

Not only does the food menu go on for miles – all with reasonable prices – the choices of beer, wine and cocktails at Left Coast Kitchen are endless and come with excellent deals.

Located conveniently on Merrick Road, Left Coast Kitchen’s menu features  the ultimate comfort food, Mac n Cheese, Italian classics such as Ravioli du Jour and even a few choices with an Asian flair, like the Kung Pao Jumbo Prawns Skewer.

Breakfast is available on Saturdays and Sundays until 1 p.m. Come down for some designer pancakes (how about sweet potato-marshmallow?) or southern classics that are hard to find on Long Island, like chicken and waffles or biscuits and gravy.

If you are ready for a drink and want a weeknight cocktail, Thursday night is Ladies Night at Left Coast Kitchen. Ladies: come down to Left Coast Kitchen between 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. for free Cosmos and Apple Martinis. Also, Ladies Night features special snacks at the bar, so be sure to ask the bartender what you can munch on while you enjoy your free cocktails.

Happy hour takes place at Left Coast Kitchen Monday through Friday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. All well drinks (made with less expensive liquor) and “Blue Collar Beers” (think Budweiser, Bud Light, Heineken, etc.) are buy one, get one free.

Draft beers are $2 off (regular price is $6.50) during happy hour; these options change regularly, so ask the bartender for your choices.

Glasses of wine are $3 off (house selections are regularly $6 per glass) during happy hour, as are cocktails made with top shelf liquor.

I encourage beer connoisseurs to travel down to Left Coast Kitchen, whether during happy hour or not. The beer selection at Left Coast Kitchen is quite impressive. Of course, the food is recommended for all foodies, adventurous or not – there is something for every palate at Left Coast Kitchen.
