Police Treating Body Found On Parkway As Homicide
Road workers discovered the body of a man Monday morning.
UPDATE, 10:30 P.M.: State police have still not identified the body that was found on the Meadowbrook State Parkway this morning, but did release that it was a man.
Police say they are investigating the incident as a homicide, but have not released any more information.
ORIGINAL STORY: A body was discovered this morning along the Meadowbrook State Parkway, police said.

According to state police, the body was discovered at 9:38 a.m. by road workers in the tree line off the Meadowbrook southbound ramp to exit M7 West, for Babylon Turnpike in North Merrick.
Police have not yet identified the person or released a cause of death.
