Kennedy HS Science Research To Be Published For Second Time
Many scientists work for years to have papers published. Max Basil has been published twice while still in high school.

Max Basil, an Advanced Science Research student at John F. Kennedy High School, will once again be a published author in the science community.
The senior’s research will be published as an abstract in the April issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons. This will be his second journal publication as a co-author.
“These awards and accomplishments tell just part of the ongoing story of research at Kennedy,” said Science Chairperson Robert Soel. “Our ASR students excel in competitions regionally and nationally. They are making authentic contributions to the scientific community, and they are inspiring their peers and the young students coming up after them.”
