LI Teen Arrested For Threatening To Harm Other Students: Police

Police say the 16-year-old made the threat, which was reported to school administration by another student.

A Long Island teenager was arrested Thursday afternoon after police say he threatened another student.

According to police, a 16-year-old boy, who is a student at Kellenberg Memorial High School, told others that he had a desire to violently harm other students. A classmate reported the threat to the school administration, who called the police.

Police say they conducted an investigation and arrested the teen without incident.

He is charged with making a terroristic threat. He was arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
