Man Sought For Robbing Nassau County Bank: Police
The person handed a note to the teller at The Roslyn Savings Bank on Merrick Avenue, demanding money, police say.

MERRICK, NY — Police are investigating a bank robbery in Merrick, where a man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
It happened at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday at the Roslyn Savings Bank on Merrick Avenue.
The man approached a teller with a note demanding cash, detectives said.

He left on foot southbound on Merrick Avenue.
There were four employees and two customers in the bank during the robbery. No one was injured, police said.

The nearby Chatterton School was in lockdown due to the incident.
