Man Steals 14-Year-Old Boy's Bicycle in Roosevelt: Cops
The man threatened to use a gun but did not display one, police say.

ROOSEVELT, NY - Police are seeking a man who stole a 14-year-old boy's bicycle in Roosevelt on Saturday afternoon.
The 14-year-old boy was in the vicinity of 2 Centennial Avenue when he was approached by a man that demanded his bicycle at about 4 p.m., police said.
The man threatened the use of a gun, but none was shown, according to police.

The victim complied and the man fled westbound on Centennial Avenue towards Nassau Road on the bicycle which is described as BMX style, black and red in color, according to police.
The man is described as 5-foot-8, with a thin build, about 18 years old, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and grey sweatpants, police said.

No injuries were reported.
