Merrick Chiropractor Joins Livestrong Biking Team

Dr. Fred Jones is gearing up to ride for charity.

Dr. Fred Jones of Sunrise Chiropractic & Wellness has joined the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s (LAF) fight against cancer by participating in the Team Livestrong Challenge event in Davis, California on June 24.

Jones will ride more than 65 miles in support of the organization. “I am proud to join thousands of other Team Livestrong athletes across the country who are raising funds and awareness for the LAF,” Jones said. “Together, we are helping people with cancer live life on their own terms.”

Jones will also be raising money towards the cause. The funds raised will allow Livestrong to give survivors the services, information and direct support they need and 100 percent of what is raised will go directly to these efforts.
