Narcan Training At Merrick School

NORTH MERRICK, NY — A life-saving training will take place this month in North Merrick.

Residents will learn how to administer Naloxone (Narcan) to someone who has overdosed.

The training session will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the Brookside School.

Those in attendance will learn how to recognize and prevent an overdose.

The program is presented by the non-profit Tempo Group, a community-based counseling center. Registration is required.
