Nassau Convenience Store Robbed At Gunpoint
Police are looking for the robber, who was described as a 17-year-old.
Nassau County police are investigating the armed robbery of a market in Merrick that happened Saturday night.
According to police, a man entered the Fast Break Food Mart at 1066 Merrick Ave. at 9:47 p.m. on Saturday. He approached the cashier and pulled out a black handgun, then stole cash from the register. The robber fled on foot north on William Street.
The robber was a black man, 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 170 pounds, and looked about 17 years old. He was wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.
