Police and school officials are investigating a "non-credible threat" while keeping the school on lockdown for student safety.

Roosevelt High School is on lockdown for the second day in a row as police and school officials continue to investigate a threat made to the school on social media.
According to the school district, a disturbing post was made to social media on Wednesday that made a threat against the school. The details of the post, and the platform it was made on, were not made public.
The district contacted the Nassau County Police Department and the school was put on lockdown. The district called the threat "non-credible," but it is still being investigated.
