70-Year-Old Deacon Murdered At Transitional Home
Police are searching for a suspect who is considered armed and dangerous.

UPDATE: Police have identified the murder victim as Patrick Logsdon, a 70-year-old deacon who lived at the Anthony House, a transition home in Roosevelt run by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
Police are searching for Andre Patton, 47, in connection with the murder. Police say that he lived at the Anthony House. He is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be confronted. Call 911 immediately if you see him.
ORIGINAL STORY: Nassau police found a murdered man lying in the street in Roosevelt on Friday night and they're seeking the public's help to find his killer.

According to police, officers responded to a call on East Roosevelt Avenue at 10:22 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man that had been stabbed multiple times. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
