Nassau Police Say Remains Belong To 16-Year-Old Boy
The remains police found in Roosevelt on Friday belong to a teen after searching for days.

The remains that Nassau County police recovered from a wooded area in Roosevelt on Friday have been identified as belonging to 16-year-old Angel Soler, of Roosevelt.
Soler has been missing for months. He was last seen leaving his home in the evening of Friday, July 21. Police have not said how long the remains had been in the woods or how long Soler had been dead. No cause of death has been revealed.
Police had been searching the scene since Thursday morning. A tip from the Department of Homeland Security led them to believe there could be human remains in the area.
