Nassau Police Searching For Armed Robber

The man pulled out a gun and robbed a tax service before fleeing with cash.

Nassau police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday night in Roosevelt.

According to police, at 7:48 p.m., a man entered Millennium Tax Service, located at 257 Nassau Road, pulled out a black handgun and demanded money from an employee. The employee complied, and the man fled. He was last seen heading westbound on Woods Avenue. No one was injured.

The robber is described as a black man in his early 20s, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 160 to 170 pounds, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, black and white sneakers and a backpack.
