Merokeans looking for a new place to go for stress relief have a new option on Merrick Road.
The Ni Nan Healing Art Center, located at 2326 Merrick Rd., celebrated its ribbon cutting, and Nan Ni Gilbert told Patch that she provides a service that’s unique to the area.
“We’re great for people looking for a release and to get help with weight loss,” Gilbert said.

Meditation groups are held on Saturdays from 10-11 a.m. and 3-4 p.m. There are also group classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. Gilbert said that anyone who mentions Patch will get half price on their first visit.
“I learned since I was little from my grandmother,” Gilbert said. “I use natural healing plus acupuncture herbs to help people relieve their stress in a 100 percent natural way.”
