Known as NICE-Mini, and first introduced in the summer of 2022 during weekdays, the service allows riders to reserve rides from any location within a Merrick to Lynbrook corridor.

The NICE-Mini map extends approximately one-half mile to the north of and to the south of Merrick Road and Atlantic Avenue.

"The Saturday service has been well-received and so the next logical step is to make NICE-MINI available throughout the weekend," stated Jack Khzouz, NICE Bus CEO. “We are looking to bring this type of innovative service -- which provides the flexibility and convenience of private ride services at an affordable rate -- into other parts of Nassau County throughout this year."

NICE-Mini weekend service is available between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m., while weekday rides are offered between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The one-way fare for a NICE-Mini ride is the same as any ride on a fixed NICE route: $2.90.

Customers can reserve a ride by calling 516 228-4173 or by downloading the NICE-Mini app.
