North Merrick Seeking Board Of Education Applicants
A vacancy on the board needs to be filled, and any resident over 18 can apply.

The North Merrick School District is soliciting applications for the vacancy on the Board of Education, created by the resignation of Trustee John Pinto. This position will run through May 21, 2019.
Interested parties should submit a letter of intent -- limited to one page -- which includes a short bio, record of community involvement, and the attributes that would make them an ideal candidate for the North Merrick Board of Education. To qualify, candidates must be 18 years old and a resident of the North Merrick School District for one year.
The new member will be chosen from the applicant pool by the Board of Education.
