Not Just Books: This Week's Library Events

There are a variety of events at both local libraries each week.

Whether you're aware or not, there is more going on at your local library than just books being checked out.

Many residents are unaware of how much actually goes on at the local libraries. Also, most of the events at the Merrick Library and North Merrick Library are free to residents.

Need to keep the kids occupied for a little while? Or maybe you're looking for something for yourself. We're giving you a rundown of some highlighted events happening this week, but all of the library events can always be found on our events calendar.

On Tuesday, bring the little ones to "Play Hooray" for some fun at the North Merrick Library. The class for babies starts at 10:30 a.m., and the class for kids begins at 11:15 a.m.
