La Bottega to Return to Merrick with Renovated Space

Soups and sandwiches are no longer being pumped out of 2012 Merrick Road since La Bottega closed its doors. In the coming weeks, all of that will change.

La Bottega's empty shell will again play host to La Bottega, albiet a smaller, renovated eatery.

Eric Chosed, owner of TAC Development Corporation, which is developing the space, told Merrick Patch that in fact, La Bottega will be back to serving up all of it's staple dishes within the next week or so.

"It is taking half of the space that it used to have, which will result in one small vacancy that we are hoping will rent quickly," Chosed said.

The new La Bottega will also have a new manager, said Chosed.
