PHOTOS: Levy Preserve

Spring has sprung at the Norman J. Levy Park & Preserve in Merrick.

With warm temps and low winds, several people flocked to the preserve Saturday to exercise, enjoy family time or take in the sights.

The preserve boasts hiking, wildlife, nature, fishing and canoeing and is open daily until 5:30 p.m. through May (then remains open later in the summer).

Nigerian dwarf goats, roosters, chickens and turkeys also roam the grounds.
