Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. New York State Police have identified the man whose body was found on the side of the Meadowbrook State Parkway earlier this week as a Queens man who was killed. According to police, the body found on Monday was that of 37-year-old James Graham, of Jamaica. Graham had been killed by a gunshot wound, police said, and his body had been wrapped in a tarp and dumped on the side of the road. According to state police, the body was discovered at 9:38 a.m. on Dec. 16 by road workers in the tree line off the Meadowbrook southbound ramp to exit M7 West, for Babylon Turnpike. Police say the investigation is ongoing, and is being handled by the New York State Police Major Crime Unit in conjunction with the New York City Police Department.
